...and greetings from Norway, the land of Oil, Fjords, and Social Democracy!
I am happy to have found this forum, and all of it's interesting and clear-thinking members. After some time of lurking, I saw that this was clearly the place for constructive discussions, and signed up.
To say a few words about myself: I am a student of Middle East Studies, currently trying to figure out the basics of the Arab language. Apart from my studies, I use much time to think, talk, read and listen about all sorts of philosophical and political issues. The political ones I sometimes even try to do something about, being a semi-active moderate socialist.
