In 1 minute you are going to die.

1. You can wait the full time.
2. You can die earlier. For example 3 seconds. Less than the time. But not more than the allotted time.
3. It makes no difference.

You would be in perfect health and feel no pain during death,

Let's say you increase the time interval at the max 100 years.
If you pick 3 when would you pick 1? And at what interval of time would it change?

Also explain your answers.

Just to show I am not copying I posted it here http://www.sciencechatforum.com/viewtop ... 88&t=22650

But only got one response. I would prefer people to not be influenced by religion when answering or at the very least explain that your answer was inspired by religion.

Sorry if this is not in the right section or is not philosophy I just didn't know where to put it. IF this is in the wrong section move it.

one minute is too little. I take 3 because I wouldn't find it reasonable to take it seriously.

Give me a situation where I don't just drop down on the floor as if a timer like in the movie "In Time" has just worn out and I might think else about it.

I would choose to die immediately in the first case and 100 years in the second. I presume suicide is still an option?
