Lilith or Eve? Female equality or not?
Who was the first woman Lilith or Eve?
Jews recognize Lilith yet Christians never mention her and assume, thanks to Christianity blaming Eve for the fall, that women must be submissive to men.

At present, most political and religious institutions do not give women equality.
We do give lip service to equality under the law but that seems to be the extent of what males will allow women. In the distant past, male strength was often necessary for the survival of the family. Today, that condition no longer exists.
Are women meant to be submissive to men forever or will men allow women to be equal to men at some point in time?

Jesus Christ, don't you believe in evolution??? Thousands of years ago, people had every right to be ignorant. Today, they don't have that right!

Yes I believe in evolution and wish to evolve those stuck in a 3,000 year old theology to a more modern view of what justice is.
Do you have a problem with that or do you like the fact that men use the myth of Eve to deny women equality?

What do you mean by women being denied equality? Can you be more specific?

Sure I could but if I have to, then you are not listening or living in the same world I live in.
Google women and equal rights and you will find all the evidence ans specifics you can take.
Did you check the links provided?

Any religion that promotes the idea of a masculine god will have the effect of women being lesser beings. Even if the practitioners do not intend for that to happen, it will. It's best to scrap all superstitious nonsense, and one of the reasons is there has been way too much sexism for far too long. When I think of all the geniuses that have been lost throughout history because of such ignorance, I feel sad for our collective loss.
By the way, those statutes of Jesus being half-naked and tortured, they always made me think I was walking into an S&M Club on those rare occasions I wandered into a church. Maybe someone should come up with a Dominatrix Mary statue to complete the scene and give women the upper hand?

No argument friend.
It is my hope that Gnosticism will have people remember that all religions are based on myths and not reality.
