Jihad Against Muslims. Two of our first activities will be to burn a page of the Quran (or is it the Koran, or is it one of the other dozen spellings?) every day, and draw insulting pictures of Mohammed. Members will be encouraged to bring their legally concealed weapons.

Yawn. It's all been done already. Right-wing extremists, looking for a 'legitimate' excuse to cover their racism, are jumping on the anti-Islam bandwagon all the time.
A man is known by the company he keeps, Bob.
Be careful what you wish for.
An all them other homilies.

Please, Europe is well-known for its racism and prejudice at the highest government level (for instance, France's laws against Muslim clothing), but Americans will fight Muslim oppression of our freedom of speech to the death, my friend.

And long may the US continue its proud traditions, Bob. We look to the land of the free to defend the rights of atheists, Jews, Muslims, Christians, etc to say what the hell they like about each other's ideas. Will try to visit US later this year. I'll be the one dressed up as Zombie Abe Lincoln at the next Hallowe'en parade.

Ah the fantasy and the reality.

"Americans will fight Muslim oppression of freedom of speech to the death, my friend."

This is exactly the opposite of what the US has actually been doing.
That is why they funded Mubarak for 30 years; why they supported the tyrants the Shah of Iran; Saddam Hussein, Bahrain; Saudi Arabia. And that is why the NY Islamic Peace Centre was banned.

Ever think of sticking to the subject??? The fucking Europeans would never think of standing up for free speech because they don't have any. Deny the holocaust and go to jail -- that's the European system!!!

Friend and beneficiary of aid of the USA.
U.S. and UK backed coup d'état against Mosaddegh in 1953 to bring him to power.
Amnesty International reported that in 1978 Iran had as many as 2,200 political prisoners, a number which multiplied rapidly as a result of the revolution.

Saddam Hussein

Friend and beneficiary of aid of the USA.

Saddam created security forces through which he tightly controlled conflict between the government and the armed forces. In the early 1970s, Saddam nationalized oil and other industries. The state-owned banks were put under his control, leaving the system eventually insolvent mostly due to the Iran–Iraq War, the Gulf War and UN sanctions. Through the 1970s, Saddam cemented his authority over the apparatuses of government as oil money helped Iraq's economy to grow at a rapid pace. Positions of power in the country were filled with Sunnis, a minority that made up only a fifth of the population.

Saddam suppressed several movements, particularly Shi'a and Kurdish movements seeking to overthrow the government or gain independence, respectively.[citation needed] Saddam maintained power during the Iran–Iraq War of 1980 through 1988. In 1990 he invaded and looted Kuwait.

Hosni Mubarek

Friend and beneficiary of aid of the USA. Gets $1.2billion per year.

While in office, political corruption in the Mubarak administration's Ministry of Interior rose dramatically, due to the increased power over the institutional system that is necessary to secure the prolonged presidency. Such corruption has led to the imprisonment of political figures and young activists without trials; illegal undocumented hidden detention facilities, and rejecting universities, mosques, newspapers staff members based on political inclination. On a personnel level, each individual officer is allowed to violate citizens' privacy in his area using unconditioned arrests due to the emergency law

And lets not forget who funded and armed the Mujahideen and Osama Bin Laden and who now support the House of Saud who preach and fund their intolerant form of Islam worldwide, Wahhabism.

Indeed.
But for Bob not to 'forget' that he would have to have know it in the first place.
Whereas it is quite clear that he is generally ignorant of his own government's foreign policy.
Hence his claim; "
"Americans will fight Muslim oppression of freedom of speech to the death, my friend."
Which makes me laugh all the more each time I see it.

See, honey, you don't understand shit, do you? JAMit is a peaceful organization, but we will be ready to kick any Muslim's ass who tries to prevent us from excercising our First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution. Of course, you Europeans don't have to worry about things like that since you don't have any First Amendment rights to protect!!!
