Hi from Australia, I am a carpenter that likes to think and read the odd book on philosophy and philosophers. I have no degree other than a degree of intelligence, self bestowed, alas I have no outlet for my thoughts and precious few to critique them, very frustrating. This is my first attempt at sharing those thoughts with an unknown audience and I do so with trepidation, yet it is exhilarating. To think is good, to think about what you think is better, to share those thoughts can be fraught with danger, perhaps that’s why the masses prefer not to. I've written a piece on religion that I'll post.

Singing dancing and arguing with strangers... simultaneously I hope! Thanks for the greeting, talking of dance, I heard Johnny Depp has conspired with some friends Tom Waites, U2 etc and made an album of sea shanties, sounds good to me, do you have a jig in you?
Cheers. Ahab
