If it weren't for cold-blooded murder, none of us would even be here, and there wouldn't be any variety of living organisms at all. Cold-blooded murder is the very foundation of evolution.

Are you suggesting that when non-humans kill, or prevent others from surviving, it is murder?

Murder is a socially defined legal term.

When I kill a chicken to eat it, it is not murder in any sense.

Every dictionary definition stands on its own. I was was using No. 5, and don't have to defend it in any way, shape or form. However, if you want to substitute "killing" for "murder," that's OK by me. Change it to "God approves of cold-blooded killing," my friend.

OK, but a lion can rip a poor, defenseless gazelle to pieces, a harmless gazelle that just wants to live another day, but can't do it because some lion wants to mutilate every piece of its body for no other reason than that the lion likes the taste of raw, bloody gazelle, and the lion does it with God's blessing.
