I really bitched at them lately about their item return policy.
So, I not only bitched at them, but I contacted a government branch also.
Well, today, as opposed to just three weeks ago, they have a new return program set up. Now they offer you to drop it off at the post office, or they will schedule a pick up.
My bitch was, what about the handicapped who have no transportation, under their old policy, they were basically screwed.
So, may be I helped change that. I have no transportation. Now it is taken care of.
The item I am returning are six cables which have dvi at one end, typical dell monitory, and a male display on the other end, typical graphic card.
I tried three of them, all dead, so I postulated simple factory rejects being dumped on eBay. The butt wipe even demanded I take pictures, My cables work fine, but they use a display adapter, I just wanted to reduce cable bulk, but it did not work out, I am still using my old cables.
Anyway the idiot thought I was stupid, I told him the truth, I was trained as an electronic tech, even repaired cables on the F 4 fighter planes during the Vietnam war. Cables either work or they do not. If they do not, they are either trashed or repaired.
Maybe I helped change eBay policy
Re: Maybe I helped change eBay policy
In Thailand, I worked on the AC 130 gunships. There were 2 kinds, one model hard mounted a 105 mm in the rear side, but the fleet of those were eventually grounded because when the cannon fired, it moved the whole plane sideways and caused cracks in the tail end.
And, while they were waiting to be shipped out, some moron had them closed up, the heat build up melted wiring in the plane, and now that had to be replaced before they could move them.
