I have been keeping up with this for years, I really like the new version, especially the set up. With the synth, you can have the synth feeding other players, I use Winamp, the last actual version as it runs better than the attempt to use the name only. It runs fine. It can run both Musyng and Crisis General Midi v3.01 , which is over 3 gigs of sound fonts at the same time. Running Word reading text at the same time, I have only 20 percent load on the processors and a bit over 5 gigs of memory in play.
Runs nice.

These are getting either hard to find or impossible to find.

* Musica v1.7 (GM) by Cose - 1.84 GB I have this one.
* Evanessence 2 (GM/GS) final version by Cose - 1.64 GB
* Musyng (GM/GS) by Cose - 1.62 GB I have this, Musyng Kite can be found on the net, but I only found 1 instance of Musyng, which I have, but it is compressed by sfark, which there is an update of it, which is still a command window interface, so running that now in this copy of it have have found on the Archive, where all his sound fonts are in sfark compression. It has been running awhile and right now it stands at 52 percent uncompressed.

* Crisis General Midi v3.01 (GM/GS) by Chris Maricourt - 1.57 GB I have this one and it can still be found on many places.

I might have the Evanessence on one of my music drives, but I am still setting up my puter system for the Library, and am waiting on a Triplite.

When I get all four of these, I think I will upload them to the Archive as sound fonts for workstations. I think people are afraid of the large general midi sound font packs. They should try them to see if the work on the system or not, they just might be surprised.
