Long time

Many of my large book projects were done on a T7500 workstation, but, as it grew old, I lost one of the processors, etc, I ended up putting it out on the curb for someone else to fall in love with
I have not had a system with that much power since, but, I just got me a T7910 with dual processors and 36 cores, two threads each for 72 threads with 64 gigs of ram. So, now I will be up and running soon on a computer which can run my current system in a virtual box!.
My current workstation is entry level, only four cores. I still run sometimes 3 virtual systems on it which makes four running systems, but it will run maxing out the virtual computer, even though it gets the work done, slower than I would like
This one supports up to 3 high end graphics cards, which would make for 6 monitors, but I only use 3
And a very nice thing, this one comes with 2 network plugs!, which means I do not have to add a second network card.
So, The T7910 has a slimline cd rom drive and a bay for another full size cd rom drive which I will put an SSD drive for the operating system. I can run any version of windows side by side in virtual boxes.
Anyway, I will have fun with all this.
