OPNFIHL

On Philosophy Now's Forum, I have learned that I am not the only one who has suffered at times from grandiose delusions about myself.

It's good to have company when one has been labeled in psychiatry as a misfit. It's been a wonderful learning experience here, friends. I hope someone will purchase the forum (now that it has been offered for sale), and it will continue to thrive as a meeting place of philosophically trained minds. I would prefer Rick as our fearless leader, but the understandable constraints of capitalism seem to be prohibitive for maintaining a quality site that is free of intrusive advertisements. Yay, capitalism! "Socialism" and "big government" are evil.

In a good society, a site like Philosophy Now would be subsidized by public means if and when it becomes unprofitable, in order to ensure the people are well informed and get mental exercise and to give us something to do other than collect Chia pets or doll houses that end up in landfills when we get tired of them.

Pronounced correctly, the acronym could be Opnofill (or Opnophil). It's like Fahrvergnügen (except an acronym).

Exactly how, can a bunch of words, when words, names in of themselves have no meaning, be either good or evil? A sane mind fights or helps objective reality, not ghosts.
Objectively a mind is an information processor used to guide human behavior. The tool we use is objectively grammar systems.
Perhaps you should contemplate the actual meaning of The Rectification of Names.

I believe that there is a metaphor, inciting one to comprehend that a foundation on sand, and a foundation of stone, produces radically different results.

As a mind is an information processor used to effect life supporting behavior, you should be able to comprehend the first principle of psychology.
Psychology is commensurate with the principles of Language functionally resident in the mind as a Grammar Matrix.
Your behavior can never be true, until you can produce truth with that Grammar Matrix. Common Grammar, Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. Geometry is our Meta-Grammar, it teaches you how to say what you actually see. By it, you learn the Art of Names. i.e, grammar. If you cannot master it, you cannot ever master your own will.

"who has suffered at times from grandiose delusions about myself"

OMG, i hate those types, don't you? They're everywhere these days on the forums. One guy discovers the fifth element, another one cracks the quantum code, another one has proof of god, another one IS god.

I mean, c'mon. If you're gonna be grandiose, don't be delusional about it FFS!

I have a revolutionary idea. To prevent the coming PN diaspora, i will convert my youtube channel to a philosophy debate platform.

A member wants to debate x. I create a post for x, and the comment section becomes the thread for the topic.

Meanwhile, my shorts are getting more views, and people are becoming prog-rockers.
