I use a spell and grammar checker to pick up accidental typos and mistypes before I post them. Is that a bad use of AI? I know what I want to say and can tell if the spell or grammar checker is misreading or making incorrect assumptions. I know how to communicate in English; most of the reason I use the spell and grammar checking is that I'm too lazy to more thoroughly proofread my posts before making them. If I took more time and care in posting, I wouldn't need a spell and grammar checker. And of course, if I took more time to proofread my posts, I wouldn't be able to spew out so many knee-jerk responses to so many posts that others make.

So maybe the lesson I should take away is that I should take more time to proofread and make more thoughtful replies. That never hurts. Most of my prolific posts are overreactions and knee-jerk anyway. I need to slow down. But chatting on a forum is so much fun. It would bog me down immensely to take more time and consideration in each one of my posts. Diligence and care are more annoying than fun.

Basically, everything always boils down to: I suck.

2. Exorcise the me-monster words from your rewrite.

That will take the lead foot off the SOC (stream of consciousness).

Yes. The world is shitty because I use the words "I" and "is" too much. At least I didn't vote for the abomination in the White House.

No idea why you're complaining about me using first-person descriptors when writing. A person can't use the word "I" apparently.

Obviously, I should stop being candid about my own character flaws. I really wish others would acknowledge some of their own once in a while instead of dogpiling me.

I asked. But like many others here, I decided to post anyway. Apparently it was an unforgivable sin. Maybe I should have embraced Jesus as my "savior" too. Maybe that's why the world is such a shitty place.
