In breaking news, two missing episodes of Dr Who have been found, bringing the total still missing down to a mere 95. They're from William Hartnell's The Daleks' Master Plan.

Not that this affects me, at all, as the audio for every single episode has survived, often from fan recordings made at the time, by sitting in front of the telly with a reel to reel tape recorder. And, to be honest, from what I've heard of the 1960s stuff, it's pretty slow moving and clunky, but for someone who loves history, in all its multitudinous forms, this is obviously very welcome.

I just read, they will be reprocessed and released on Easter. Two days after my BD. My BD is even found in Nostradamus, my birthday with the color of my eyes and hair, and the job I do. which is kind of stupid.

Don't know for sure, and it really depends on which translator you use, but try "tenth day of kalens, Gothic style." I really don't read it, I found it when I was at my aunt's house when I was a teenager.

I'm not sure what Gothic fashion means, but the 10th day of the Kalends of April is what we would call 23rd March. The Romans counted backwards from three fixed points in the month, one of which was the Kalends, that is, the first of the month, in this case, April. The counting was inclusive, meaning that 1st April was one, 31st March two, and so on, to the tenth.

I think you need to define your terms. They were still using the Julian calendar, for sure, until 1582 (or later, in some places, such as Britain and its colonies). But the method of counting the days within a month is entirely separate to that. Our modern method of starting on the first day and counting forwards till the end of the month was the standard practice long before Nostradamus.

I'm sorry if you think that. I'm simply explaining how something works, that I happen to know a fair bit about. I thought, perhaps, that you might find it interesting, with regard to the Nostradamus prophecy.

You said that the Roman calendar was still in use in the 16th century. Such a statement is ambiguous, which is why I suggested that you define your terms.

The Gregorian, or Gothic calendar did not come about until almost 2 decades after Nostradamus died.

I'm not disputing the translation. I was simply trying to tell you how the Roman calendar works.
