Personally, if one cannot use the two types of identity, arithmetic and geometric, or again, literal and metaphorical, I would get rid of my microwave oven, suspecting bad seals on it, because instead of nonsense words, non-to-logical gibberish, and consider I had a comprehension problem.

Anyone who spends a lot of time over something they have never seen, while ignoring the real problems around them, might benefit from therapy.
