Music to have sex to

Some sounds just scream sex. Here are two songs that communicate the idea of sex. I am sure there are sounds in nature that do this as well. Please feel free to get as creatively comical, kinky, sentimental, etc., as a sound will allow. I will begin with these songs to start the ball a rolling...

Thanks for creating this kind of strand, artisticsolution!

I'm constantly looking for a song called "We Use"! Obviously, if it's not about sex and energy, I've certainly been reading cocaine into it! I believe it's song by a British band. Anyone who knows about it, please? It was just so bloody elegant, almost a little like Primal Scream - Some Velvet Morning (Feat. Kate Moss)! Cool....! :)

You tube Primal Scream - Some Velvet Morning (Feat. Kate Moss) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REFdA7yS_8M!!!! :)

Besides, "Marvin Gaye - Lets Get It On" reminds me of "Otis Redding - (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay". I used to be a sucker for military jets back in my youth and thus enter "Top Gun" and the soundtrack with good, ol' Otis! Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzrXc68gNjQ! Cheers! :)

Artisticsolution, you just can't beat a good Bruckner symphony. And most of them are around an hour long, which is a reasonable length.

The timing of two crescendos is hard enough - without a third coming from the music. Way too complex for me, though I'm sure not for a virtuoso like you Richard.

Where's my waving baton emoticon...maybe this... :!:

Oh yeah, this reminds me. I recently came across this traffic sign and it made me smile. I took a pic to post in the PN forum and totally forgot about it. Here's some charming music to go with it...lol.

Now, I'm not sure if one of my favourtie songs would turn you on or off - certainly it's powerful piece about a man who strayed and is getting a tongue lashing from his 'big grey woman with barbed wire pussy'. This rather naughty ditty is performed by the wonderful Marianne Faithfull. It's from her 'Broken English' album. Here she croaks the ballad live. If you are disturbed by bad language, please do not click on the following link, nor read the following introductory lyrics...look away now...

When I stole a twig from our little nest
And gave it to a bird with nothing in her beak
I had my balls and my brains put into a vice
And twisted around for a whole fuckin' week

"Why'd you do it?",she said
"Why'd you let that trash
Get a hold of your cock get stoned on my hash?"
etc etc

Here's Marianne Faitfhfull's stupendous performance:

artisticsolution - I will need to have a good think about this. I like music and dancing and the way it can make me feel but it varies for certain moods. Dancing can be an interesting appetiser ;).

Yes to both Santana - sexy and swirly with lots of acting; and Marvin Gaye - smooth and sensual.

I do need to investigate this type of music too:-
Listening to Bachata Music, Is a Lot Like Having Sex http://pagan-culture.blogspot.co.uk/201 ... -like.html

I remember once I was exploring the limits of Spotify so I searched for "sex", wondering if I would get any sound-porn. Turns out that exists too, and no, it's not a phone sex call taped, of course, a lot of moaning, but it's actually music, and you can really feel the situation. In one of them it's raining for instance and you can hear the sounds of two girls enjoying each other in a tent. If ANYTHING can be called "Music to have sex to", at least this would really be it: http://open.spotify.com/album/6dMlf4EcL9KG6etF97BLVx

And here's the artist with the rest of the albums: http://open.spotify.com/artist/5E2VSOCdq8rYxXUZDsBRG6

Kind of more ambience than music in the way we usually mean though. But then again porn movies aren't real movies to us, so the same principle kind-of hold.

The first, obvious one, that comes to my mind is this Gainsbourg/Birkin's classic from the 60's:

And everything tha Julie London sang transpired sexyness:

This used to be one of my favorite songs to listen to, it's still one of my favorites, but since I saw the movie, it's a lot harder to listen to. If you have seen the movie and have children you might understand.
