Jews banned from Birmingham

Aston Villa, one of the two main football clubs in Birmingham, is due to play against a club from Tel Aviv in a week or so. The local Muslim MP organised a petition to prevent Israeli fans coming to Birmingham to watch the match, with an implied threat of violence from the huge Muslim community in the area. The local police and city council succumbed to pressure and banned the fans from coming, and the Tel Aviv club has issued a statement saying they will not be sending any of their supporters.
The excuse the MP used was that the Tel Aviv fans, or at least some of them, are known for violence. Which is a very interesting justification, because it seems to imply that it's perfectly fine to exclude an entire class of people (e.g. Tel Aviv fans) from a place (e.g. Birmingham) on the grounds that some of them, though presumably not all, have a tendency for doing things that people don't like.

England is lost. Muslims weren't even a 'thing' thirty years ago. They were just Arabs or whatever nationality they happened to be and those tents the women wear now were unheard of. In a sense they've lost their identities.

The next election, whenever it comes, might well be the last chance we get to save things. A hopeful sign, though, is that Nigel Farage is talking about the rape gangs again.

But most of them are British citizens now. What I don't get is that according to the most recent census muslims only make up 6.5% of the population. That's just not possible. Perhaps they've been told to not put it on their census forms. London is almost entirely muslim isn't it? FFS.

Ironically, all this Nazi-style Jew-hatred that's happening in countries like England, Australia and the US ('coincidentally' all the countries that helped the US attack Iraq 20+ years ago) are just proving how much Jews really do need their own country.
If that p**** of a councillor is 'worried' about violence then ban muslims from the matches. Imagine the wails and pearl clutching if anyone suggested THAT.

Living in Birmingham I suppose I might be getting a distorted impression, since I'm now part of a minority, here. They certainly don't assimilate, and have no need to, either, given their numbers. Even after two or three generations living here, they still have their own distinctive accent, for example, which is a mixture of the local, Birmingham accent and their own, native accent.

Don't you think Israel has the right to defend itself when attacked? Whatever it might be, it's certainly not fascist. It's the only democracy in the region, and the only place where freedom of speech and belief exist.

The Torah condemns oppression and injustice. “You shall not wrong or oppress a stranger, for you were strangers in Egypt” (Ex. 22:21). “God created man in His own image” (Gen. 1:27). The ongoing treatment of Palestinians by the Netanyahu government stands in direct opposition to these principles: oppression, collective punishment, and dehumanization violate the Torah’s core moral vision.
Support Netanyahu as much as you like, but do not pretend he and his like are good Jews.

I don't support Netanyahu, and nor do I not support him. And I'm not Jewish either, for that matter, so I can't comment on who is, or isn't, a good Jew.
