I built my library book cases, 5 of them years ago, so they wrap around the room, 38 inches wide each. they go from the floor almost up to the ceiling. The evolution of the library room is this, it is also my internet room, as none of my working areas are on the internet for security, and it has a bench for working on computers and fixing and maintaining my raid arrays. But now that I am adding a work center, just for my work in geometry, I need just to set up a library and work bench computer area so as not to interfere with my project or internet areas, so, the Dell Precision computer, will be used for that, It will be compact and efficient. the remaining wall has a bench with guitars hanging above on the wall.

I have ordered a few things to bring the T3400 more up to date, primarily a usb 3.2, 2x2 interface card as usb 2 does not cut it. I also ordered a bay encosure that holds both 3.5 and 2.5 sata drives along with two usb ports which will also plug into the usb card, making a total of seven added ports, two of them usb c. Unlike most computer of the time, the T3400 takes at least up to 4tb Sata drives internally, so I have the operating system on an SSD along with some muscle in drive memory.

It will be nice, but I have and will continue to toss out old junk to make it work.

My Dell Precision Workstation T3400 is AWOP, while I have been working on Sans Digital Boxes and my Dell Precision Tower 3520 in my library.

Since I use a lot of graphics, and they are all Vector Graphics or as they say, SVG, which allows me to have thousands of pages in a document, and keeping it a small size with perfect graphics at any size, I have had a problem with Word. I could simply copy my graphics into Word 2003, and paste them into Mathcad and they would remain SVG, and they printed fantastically in pdf. However, beyond 2003, into todays version of Word, they paste in as bitmaps, which I will not use. Dove my nuts until I tried WordPad, which copies and pastes them into Mathcad as SVG. So, it took me a long time to figure it out, tried a lot of programs which did not really cut it, until I tried WordPad.

I have changed the header to the normal template in Mathcad for this new project. I am still awaiting the Sans Digital box with the 16 tb of drives in them that I got off Ebay, I think I will use it as a JABOD for movies, tv series, mp3's, audiobooks on the Library computer. I have dual monitors on the system, so, I can keep busy in the Library all day.

The Dell Precision Tower also has my OS OracleBox collection so I can power up any version of Windows on it in the Library. I put 2, RocketRaid boards in it so I can connect up to 4 external Sans Digital boxes, for digging things up in the Virtual Library I built. I also put Sennheiser wireless headphones on the Dell Precision Tower 3520 so I can listen to anything without bothering anybody.
