The Nature of Consumerism

Consumerism reduces people to base impulses, by the cultivation of dissatisfaction and base appetites within the masses, through the elite in an attempt to maintain a sense of control over the masses in an effort to maintain an identity for said elite by and through polarized power dynamics that inevitably reflect a widening gap that gives impression of a relative identity, as the distinctions of "the elite" and "the masses", premised upon a power dynamics that induce contrast by degree of seperation of peoples so as to attain a state of unconsciousness of and within, by degree of advertising and economic alchemy, ie power through transformation, to elevate an illusion of enlightenment as a means of a primal form of unity by reducing awareness to strictly being degrees of unconsciousness.
