AI Writing

From what I've seen of AI 'writing' it's horrible. Bland. No personality behind it (makes sense since it's not a person). Perhaps a forum expert eg Attofishpi or Flashdangerpants could kindly post two passages of writing. One AI and the other human and see if we can tell the difference.
This is relevant in light of the fact that accusations have been made concerning a certain poster who has been accused of being a 'bot' infiltrator.
Personally I don't see how AI could be any use whatsoever to a human who can write at least reasonably well.

Ok. Just had AI write a story. My 'prompt': A story about an old man and his dog. Actually it's not too bad. Very 'flowery', with 'windswept moors' and 'gnarled hands coaxing life from the earth', but pretty much what any creative writing course would teach. No grammatical errors either

I haven't seen too many sentences that make no sense from ai, unless explicitly asked for. I think they generally make a lot of sense, but they also have no flavour. Then again, the flavour of most human forum writers isn't anything to write home about, mine included no doubt.
