Aristotle once wrote, if you cannot find anyone to argue with, argue with yourself. It is one method of examining ideas.
But that is not its only use, for we have countless dead people to argue with, they are pressed between the pages of books. 'So, why do people whine about being lonely. There are countless dead people to talk to. Libraries, real and virtual, as simply synonyms, more often than not, for cemeteries.
The first thing the dead teach you is how to be still and listen. Bad actors on a forum simply have never fallen in love, they are probably incapable of it.
The big difference between a library and a cemetery is that one has to submit an application to be buried in a library while one is still alive.
