Defining A Philosopher.
"A Philosopher"
This construct is identical to Socrates sits, i.e. A plays the part of a noun, and Philosopher a relative difference, or verb in that set. A would then be a class and Philosopher a member of that class. A is then like the Algebraix class variable. One can plug any human into that variable provided that member complies with the definition of Philosopher.
So, we start by the definition of Man. Now, the first scientific definition of Man that I am familiar with is in the Bible, but since simple people do not comprehend metaphor, and other people have some mental reaction to the Masters of Metaphor who had the book written, I will use a concise definition of man which states the same thing, but is apt to be like velvet to the a tender brain that is not used to solving problems.
Man, as Plato noted, is defined not by his looks or gender, but by his mind whose purpose is life, i.e., a mind is potentially the most powerful life support system possible. It does this for the mind is, by designed, an information processor designed to effect the behavior of a life form using predictive algorithms in binary. Simply call dialectic by Plato, and binary today. I.e. our behavior is the result of programming, or also called information processing. Our information is afforded by the bodies senses which is converted to memory. It can be called memory management also.
The intelligible binary, common to the whole Universe is a things material difference and the limits of that material differences, also call shape or form. Therefore the Intelligible Binary of Language is a physical derivative. This reduces to off, on, off.
This makes Language Universal and Intelligible, while Grammar systems are Particular and Perceptible. Or again, a distinction between the Intelligible and the Perceptible.
Thus, there is One, and only One Language, the Intelligible Binary by which the Universe is expressed in. This allows the evolution of four specific systems of grammar for a life form, each one of them a particular method of utilizing the intelligible binary. Common Grammar, Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. These are four basic programming grammar systems by which are recursively used to build even more complex expressions. These four are the recognized foundations of every attempt at civilization of mankind. I.e., these are used to effect and encode our own basic behavior with. Intelligibly and perceptibly.
These are called our Grammar Matrix, and by definition, as Plato noted, they are for the express purpose of behavioral modification. Our mind is designed to regulate our behavior, and we evolve to understand how this is accomplished using a binary grammar matrix, or simply our Grammar Matrix.
Philosophy is then the study of, and the employment of, our Grammar Matrix, in order to have, as stated in the Bible, Dominion over the earth. I.e. We are evolutionarily designed to become the caretakes of all life within our given biosphere.
This is why Philosophy is over all of man's sciences, all of his behavior. It is also called Metaphysics. Or one can simply call it Literacy.
Stupid forms of life can not grasp it. It is the result, as intimated in the Bible, of the evolution of mankind. Evolution is afforded, as written in the Bible, by what has become known as Survival of the Most fit. In mankind, that means the most literate, the most intelligent.
Evolution is a war for survival. It is achieved by the mastery of binary recursion, the intelligible of the physical binary expressed by the Universe.
The computer age is simply a more intelligent use of binary recursion, but it is not, by any means an invention of mankind, it is simply how the Universe works.
A philosophy, then is An intelligent person who studies behavior, using a Grammar Matrix, in order to do the work of Man, i.e., a functional so called cog in a wheel often referred to as the Circle of Life. As written the Beginning, our binary, is the End, our binary, Binary recursion can only produce a binary result.
So, if you cannot use the simple programming grammars of civilizations, I guess that all is left one, is the perpetual gibberish, whining and clown displays of the stupid.
