Probably for the same reason why the THEISTS reject KNOWLEDGE.

Well, I am glad you understand that ATHEISTS reject WISDOM.
However, "theists reject knowledge" makes no sense. I have never come across a theist that attempts to wipe memories from his brain - memories being the store of knowledge.
Can't say I noticed in the Bible Christ instructing believers to attempt to not learn stuff!

Correct!!, my comment makes absolutely no sense (just like the OP, alas).

But the OP (thread title) and your comment are very different statements.

Don’t you first have to eat from the tree of knowledge for discernment to come online in the form of wisdom?

I DO_U_BT it.
Belief in Christ is the paramount KEY in my opinion.
But certainly a great amount of knowledge regarding the power of GOD is gained from doing so, but never shall i return to test that again, FOOLISH beyond comprehension.

I agree, once humbled by God, one never returns to anything but the Christ.

Somewhat different, yet similar in their overgeneralization stances.

There is not much wisdom in believing that God would be his own son and therefore also his own father.
Then you also got the fact that, from emperor Theodosius on, the state took great pleasure in persecuting anybody who did want to believe the bullshit.
Therefore, we should be grateful to the French and Russian Revolutionaries for having put a stop to the nonsense. They sought to eradicate Christianity. Seriously, who could blame them?

I've already explained that rationally.
I still want to know, were you originally raised as a Christian then decided Islam was for you?

No, you didn't.

I came to the conclusion that every other religion makes sense because they do not have a church, i.e. a centralized monopoly on interpretation.
I am familiar with Judaism, Islam, and also a bit with Buddhism. You will never hear me criticize these religions. They do not have a church. Therefore, their interpretation is naturally closed under logical consequence.
You seem to insist on discussing why I say that about Islam, even though I also say that about Judaism and Buddhism.
In fact, Muslims do that too. When I say that Islam's deductive closure makes it eminently suitable as a moral theory, Muslims will insist that I am a Muslim. I see myself rather as some kind of "user of Islamic doctrine".
I am highly negative about Christianity, its absurd personality cult of Christ, and its contradictory doctrines, while I like everything else, including Islam.

Yes I did, when I can be bothered I will copy and paste the original statement I made pertaining to this, that you avoided addressing.

Catholcism is all u got regarding that. It still comes back to being a Chrisian (me) or believeing in man's bullshit interpretations and distortions "Christianity" <--- that's the bit you have issue with.
Islam is centralized and then all sorts of man made up bullshit followed per Hadiths.
I consider Muslims atheists at best, following nonsense made up by a non-divine liar.

Islam is centralized
No, there is no central organization in Islam with a monopoly on "authentic" interpretation. What organization would that be? Who exactly would be its boss?
attofishpi wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 3:18 am
a non-divine liar.
The prophet of Islam is not divine. That is standard Islamic doctrine. Why would he be a liar? What exactly would he have lied about?
I am opposed to any religion that claims that a particular man would be divine. I reject, repudiate, reprobate, and utterly condemn the practice of designating any human being as being divine.
