Coherent Emergentism - A comprehensive new theory of reality

Hello everyone,

I am excited to share with you a theoretical framework I've been developing, called Coherent Emergentism. This theory seeks to address fundamental questions about the nature of reality, existence, and consciousness. The core propositions of Coherent Emergentism include:

Necessity of Existence: Reality exists because it is inherently necessary; "nothingness" is unstable and cannot persist.

Self-Organization: Reality organizes itself without external guidance, with coherent non-contradictory structures emerging naturally from fundamental interactions.

Emergence of Consciousness: Consciousness arises as a complex, emergent property of information-processing systems, particularly within neural networks.

Dynamic Coherence: While not all events are initially coherent, larger coherent entities emerge through interactions, aligning with the possibilities present at the quantum level.

I believe this theory offers a comprehensive perspective that bridges physics, philosophy, and cognitive science. I welcome your thoughts, critiques, and discussions on this framework.

Here is a link to the first article outlining the theory: https://zenodo.org/records/14981410

When you say 'inherently necessary', here, then why is 'reality existing' 'necessary', inherently, exactly?

Also, why do you believe and claim that 'nothingness' is unstable, and, can not persist?

By stating and claiming that 'nothingness' is unstable, and, could not exist, then this implies that 'nothingness' could be 'short term', and then 'reality' start to exist, or just be a part of reality', itself.

Hi Max,

Your theory is intriguing, especially the idea that "nothingness" is unstable and the self-organizing nature of reality. The emergence of consciousness from complex systems also aligns with current thought in cognitive science. I'm curious about how your framework addresses the qualitative aspects of consciousness (qualia). Looking forward to reading more in your articles!
