It seems to me, Philosophy now, put the categories on this website using common vernacular which is not exactly what one would call literate, which is simply the confusion of a noun with a verb, a class and a member of a class.

As Plato noted, and as every Philosopher should believe, Philosophy is over all the Sciences, therefore, it is not correct to say The Philosophy of this or that, which makes philosophy an abstraction from the set of this or that. The Philosophy of Mind should be Science of Mind, to which Philosophers apply a standard of information processing, which Plato and the computer notes, is Dialectic or again, Binary Recursion.

To misuse the word Philosophy just tells everyone, you don't know your subject.

Class Mechanics has always been a "you got to be f****** kidding me" kind of thing, as we have two and only two concepts to master, as Plato kept trying to teach his readers, noun and verb, relative and correlative. This reaction of mine is due to fact that the phrase, itself, only implies Grammar, which means that the title is an oxymoron. Class is a noun, where mechanics as a practice, is a verb, as in the mechanics of water skiing.

It would have been more correct to say the Mechanics of using the class and the members of a class, which is just what we are suppose to learn in each of member of our Grammar Matrix, Common Grammar, Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry.

This also goes for so called Set Theory and Group Theory, neither is a theory, and both are written by very dim people.

Classical philosophy was replaced by Enlightenment philosophy. Science gives its data to philosophy. If you are the grammar patrol, then show it in your posts. Scientists are called natural philosophers. Natural philosophers are not the God of natural theology. Scientists are not the God of natural theology. The latter was written in Categorical Syllogisms.
