Why do guys who dress as girls get so much hate but not the other way around?

So I am a girl and I have a number three brush cut and dress like a guy. This sometimes confuses people who are not sure if I am a guy or a girl, and sometimes they act weird about it, and say I would like a lot prettier with longer hair and so forth.
But guys who have long hair and dress like girls get serious hate - i.e. the kind of hate that can get your face stomped on late at night (or even not so late) if you are not careful.
Why is this?

Like all forms of bigotry, it's neither rational nor reasonable. Ultimately it boils down to a lack of emotional and mental maturity.

WTF are you even on about? If you think AGPs who don womanface to publicly display their sexual fetish and force others to participate in it is the same as a woman who happens to have short hair then you need your head read and to stop being such a pathetic handmaiden to perverts.

I read your reply several times and it literally makes no sense other than to show that you are angry about something.

Neither rational nor reasonable due to a lack of emotional and mental maturity. There is no sense that can be made of whatever rationalizations they come up with. Even when they themselves believe themselves to be making sense; to be rational and reasonable.

being a target of affection from one who you find undesirable is often too much for some to handle...

Wut?
A guy dressed like a girl can get attacked by a rando just walking down the street.

So can women, handmaiden, and it doesn't make any difference 'what' they are wearing. Women get attacked by MEN all the time, including MEN who wear dresses. Which rock have you been living under?

I think you mean 'dressed as a stereotype caricature' of a 'girl'. Hmm. If they allegedly get 'attacked walking down the street by randos' then there's a fairly simple remedy for that. What a shame that actual women don't have that luxury.
Here's a helpless petal who needs your help, handmaiden. He's just been 'miss gendered', which is LITERAL GENOCIDE. The evil shop assistant is committing LITERAL MURDER.

Interesting that the males are 'guys' in your OP, yet they dress as 'girls'. What is it with Americans and their infantalising of women?
Or are you talking about those men who like to dress up as 'little girls', complete with a nappy (diaper) and dummy (pacifier) because they are paedophiles and it gives them a boner?
I would say that they are pretty much begging for an 'attack by a rando', wouldn't you?

I suppose I should be thankful the OP title doesn't say 'dolls', although that wouldn't be inaccurate

So interesting. I'm not even American so I don't see how I could be Republican. I also vote 'left'. I hear this all the time from wokies...''Why do you CARE so much?'' ''Why are you so ANGRY?''. Could this mean that wokies are just shallow fuckwits who don't care about anything except being seen to align with the 'current thing'? Surely not

Note that the writer of the OP has no counterarguments whatsoever except that I'm 'triggered'. Oooh. How very cool

Having a counterargument requires that there is an argument to start with. "I am an angry Republican!" is not an argument.
