'Nazi' salute

Much is being made of Elon Musk's rather cringy gesture at Trump's inauguration.
What thicko Americans don't understand is that only an actual NAZI (or some retard who thinks of himself as an ACTUAL NAZI) can do an ACTUAL NAZI salute.
Other than that weirdly difficult-to-comprehend fact, people are free to do with their own arms what they effing well like within the confines of laws eg physically hurting others-- OBVIOUSLY, although I realise that clarifying this is to grossly insult the intelligence of those reading it. Anyone with at least mildly below average intelligence would know this. I'm not paid to think for others. It's hardly my fault if some on here are well below the retardation threshold.
So much for the famous FREEDOM that Americans are always bleating on about.
The fascists of 1930s Europe didn't take out a patent on all future arm movements.
In fact Hitler's own 'Hitler salute' was a sort of effeminate palm-forward, bent-elbowed, flick of the wrist by his right shoulder. I suppose this means that milliions of camp men ever since have been ACTUAL NAZIS.
I would show a photo but I can't.
Anyone who genuinely believes that Musk is an ACTUAL NAZI is debilitatingly mentally challenged.

So, well to "accelafine" anyway, ALL human beings are FREE to do with their arms ABSOLUTELY WHATEVER they like. Which OBVIOUSLY INCLUDES hurting, harming, and ABUSING others or ANY and ALL things, AS WELL.

I will now suggest that others DO SEE DIFFERENTLY, here.

I wonder if "accelafine" also believes that EVERY one is ABSOLUTELY FREE to BELIEVE WHATEVER they like, as well, even NO MATTER if those BELIEFS INVOLVE hurting, harming, or ABUSING others, AS WELL.

OBVIOUSLY 'those' who live on 'that parcel of land' have NOT had FREEDOM since 'dictatorship people' have come from other countries.

OBVIOUSLY "elon musk" is NOT some one who HATES and WANTS TO KILL so called "jewish" people. But, just as OBVIOUS is the Fact that "elon musk" WANTS "donald trump" to HAVE as MUCH POWER and CONTROL OVER 'people' as "adolf hitler" did.

OBVIOUSLY "elon musk" can NOT rise to the position of "presidency" in 'that country', so "elon musk" NEEDS A 'puppet' like "donald trump" in order to OBTAIN what "elon musk" REALLY WANTS.

Hmmm, I'm not so sure... let's get Nazi-expert Flash Diarrhea Pants in here for his analysis:

Hmm. Interesting. There was a salute called the Bellamy salute that was used in the US to accompany the pledge of allegiance. It was adopted in 1892 and used until 1942.
Frustrating not being able to post photos. It's exactly the same as the Italian fascist/Nazi salute.

Yeah yeah yeah, that naughty ol' Hitler ruined a perfectly good moustache, an entirely sensible Hindu symbol, Mussolini's completely made up Roman salute, and the fine ancient tradition of genocide all at once. And you only want to bring back maybe 4 of those things at most.

You really aren't making a lot of sense. It was called the 'Roman salute' but there's no evidence the Romans used it apart from relatively recent paintings. What does that have to do with anything?

Compare the full clips of both. A nazi solute isn't just a single moment in time, it's an entire motion.

Looking at a clip of Elon Musk and judging from the force exerted in his gestures, they look unequivocally like gestures signaling great admiration or devotion. The German elite as well as many of the German people were very devoted to Hitler too of course. As far as it being equivalent, I guess we'll have to see what happens. It doesn't seem to me that pulling out of the WHO and the Paris climate accords are steps in the right direction. And mass deportation of undocumented immigrants is probably going to break up a lot of families and is going to cause a lot of people a lot of suffering.

For the record, I have no stance on the question "Is Musk a Nazi?" I'm not an expert on what it takes to qualify as a contemporary Nazi, nor do I care to be.

Regardless of whether he IS a nazi, I think he knowingly and deliberately did a nazi salute. He's a billionaire who has been on TV, radio, podcasts for years now, many many times. He has media training. He has cultural awareness. He knows what a nazi salute is and he knows why he probably shouldn't do it.

I don't think he did a nazi salute because he IS a nazi. I think he did a nazi salute because he's a troll who thought it would be funny. He foresaw that if he did that and said "I throw my heart out to you" or whatever dumb bullshit he did, his detractors would clutch their pearls and call him a nazi and his supporters would say "oh no, he wasn't doing that, see he said that thing about his heart." He thought the turmoil that would sprout from his salute would be funny.

And he's right, it is funny.

But there's no question at all that it was a deliberate nazi salute.
