The true meaning of God is dead is much deeper than what had already become a platitude by the end of the 19th century.

God is dead and we killed him.

Act like you are dead. Then you’ll know God. A.K.A. Infinity for Eternity

Knowing is unknown.

You are God, and God is dead.

There is no room in here for two.

The truth is still the truth regardless if it's ugly or not.
Pessimism is more superior than optimism and also grounded in realism.
The extinction of the dinosaurs was lucky for them, their suffering must have been unbearable. Lucky too that the dino's did not know the dystopia of existential dread. They hadn't evolved to that point.
