What I understand is this:

1. Hamas [Sunni] attacked Israel on Oct 7 202.
2. On Oct 8 2023, Hezbollah [Shia] [unprovoked] attacked Israel.
3. Hezbollah continue to send >8000 bombs onto Israel.
4. Israel killed Hezbollah leader as strategy to prevent more bombs from Hezbollah.
