I've heard that Trump wants a nuclear arms buildup. Apparently it's part of the Project 2024 thing. He believes America needs nukes. Why? Why does he want to put the world in jeopardy? Is it because he's an old man and doesn't care about life anymore?

Thoughts?

Perhaps he wants to put life out of its misery? He's fighting a lost cause though. Life will prevail until the universe decides it won't.

Does he care if he lives or dies? Of course. Does he CARE about the world?

Error.. the question implies that the asker isn't aware that the NPDs lack the ability to care. Never did care, never will, not when young, not when old.

I guess he wants more nukes so he can be - I mean so the US can be - a stronger, more threatening force on the world stage, why else?

Nukes are only useful for the purpose of intimidating countries that don't have nukes. If you have them already, getting more nukes is pointless. It's getting your first one that makes a difference.

For Trump, nukes operate as a phallic symbol of immense potency. Enough of those and you can screw everybody concurrently!

Humans are too selfish to die, or kill themselves on mass.

That's why they keep breeding more of themselves. I haven't lived long enough yet, to witness the complete decline of human reproduction.

You are safe for now, at least while there is still the desire to live. No problem then.

The end of the universe is not predictable from its theory. If it were, its model would be bounded, i .e. finitary. All its facts would then be predictable from theory. Consequently, free will would not exist.

So, if free will exists, then the end of the universe is unpredictable.
