Who Are The Globalists & What Do They Want?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-EX8wTPLRg&t=301s
I don't know if there is a conspired "Globalist Agenda" I am merely QUESTIONING as to what is going on in Europe especially where the LEFTIST governments are allowing the Western democracy to falter under MASS (* mostly illegal) immigration?
My main area of concern and truly, I feel we are on the cusp of being too late - -- is the ISLAMIST invasion - they get the VOTE and they tend to align their vote, hence partisan politics is a permanent fixture in most (currently) Democratic countries in Europe.
MY MAIN AREAS OF CONCERN ARE:-
1. Islamic ideology.
2. Islamic invasion via any means.
3. LEFT wing politics ALLOWING this invasion.
4. Mainstream Media REFUSING to report on violence etc.. from these Islamist Muslims (I can only find reporting via other means)
5. Mainstream Media continually calling RIGHT wing politics as "FAR RIGHT"
6. " " ......continually reporting NEGATIVELY on anyone that leans to the RIGHT as "thugs" "racists" etc..
WHAT IS GOING ON??? PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN...
Why would the likes of Starmer and outgoing Tories allow\accommodate my list 1-6 above?
MUSLIMS - Celebrating getting MPs elected to parliament *NOTE the machetes **NOTE this wasn't reported via MSM

I live in Florida in the US. We get a lot of immigrants here too. I just want to live in peace with them. This thread does not contribute to that endeavor. I consider you one of my friends here on PN. I will always consider you a friend regardless of what you post or how you respond. However, I wish you'd calm down and fight the good fight with me and stop all this negativity.

That timestamp doesn't lead to him saying anything about who they are. It just says a bunch of random shit. Who are they supposed to be and what are their motives?
This isn't political philosophy, this is just silly guys ranting about silly stuff.

No, it’s not philosophy—it’s attofishpi. He’s gone off the rails, the deepend, and his rocker.

My 25c, 3 decades in an upper middle class academical neighborhood after 3 decades in a daytime work neighborhood, talking politics and philosophy with all these people all these years is that its actually worse than suggested in OP. There is no ”master plan” or a conspiracy - Its in the blood of being born semi posh.
Take a look at the thread about existentialism is a humanism in the articles reaction subforum, or rather the article - if you have not already read the actual manifesto by JP(a bloody good text imho). You see his stance - this rich boy later to turn commie - if there is no god there is no holds barred. As a custom inherited from his or her noblesse backgrounds of course you’re supposed to travel the world in your education. And a life in a factory, an office or a hospital is a life lost. You’re supposed to make something with your life, find the meaning. Just adhering to what traditions there are in the country - ones that you don’t necesarily share - is not what comes natural. And there are good ways to life fulfilment both going left or right. Neoliberal or red-green. And those do not indeed get enhanced by adhering to whatever culture in the country you live in. I think that the choices young academical people do are (all too) genuine, and that the fact that globalism serves the free flow of money is more intriguing than simply explained by some general conspiracy.
One cannot - as a guy that heavily gains from globalism being controlled - deny that these global markets have done good things, people in the 3rd world getting better lives, people being lifted from poverty, and a lot of immigrants finding better lives, well integrated into the new society. But well, there should maybe be someome running the conspiracy, bc when things go crazy, famously in my central Scandinavian home country with gang shootings and a big social problems, people will adhere to parties that are truly not wholesome, and there is actually racism and nationalism growing.
The miracle would be posh enlightened parents starting truly taking justice seriously and fostering their own children to observe the fair race within the country as everyone else. I had to struggle, as a parent, to try to push for that. Whats ”best” for your children is maybe not whats best for society.

jjjon-paul tried hees hardest not to be petite bourgeois but when you're a french intellectual/writer in the 40s, it's difficult not to be. Remember tho he lived a variation of the proletarian stuggle as a meteorologist who spent nine months in a POW camp.

To speak with certainty that one knows what *the good fight* is, is the point where one should ask questions. What could be more central to philosophical endeavor?
If you have established, or better said if it has been established for you, that the immigration you refer to is "good", and if you have never examined the question in depth, then a series of questions follow: Are you sure? Why are you sure?
Then, there is the necessary interrogation of those who propose that *immigration is negative*. What exactly do they mean? Why do they say that?
The conversation would begin from these points, and indeed an entire ground would have to be established first
before one could proceed toward definitive, conclusive statements.
Who is this man who says: "I live in Florida in the US. We get a lot of immigrants here too. I just want to live in peace with them." That is to say, what sort of ideas have informed him? What are the sentiments that cause him to say this and, necessarily, to believe that what he is saying is true -- and then *good* and *right*?
It is possible to say to this man: "Give an accounting of yourself".
This man implies that he is situated in some sort of righteous state. He says (effectively) "I know what is right" and then he goes on (essentially) to establish who is his *friend* and necessarily who is his *enemy*.
This is not even preliminary philosophical conversation. It is not conversation really. It is just tossing up semi-formed or half-formed opinions which are to be taken as settled.

If we are going to talk about globalists, I think we should consider who the first globalists were. Well, ok, emperors, way back when. Then jump forward to not so distant history, the main globalists were Kings and Queens often working with religious organizations. European Royalty and the Catholic Church, say. The Anglican Church and the English Empire. And then the emerging mega companies, like the East India Company, say. Coming up into the last 100 years the main globalists have been the corporations and then any nation states that can manage to be non-colonial empires. Why have the responsibility, just get the goods and control, access to resources and markets. Use proxies. Hands don't seem so dirty. End of the 20th and beginning of 21st, corporations.
And let's remember who bought the idea that corporate freedom was the same as individual freedom. Who dismantled government oversight of corporations. Who fought for corporate personhood. Who put revoking corporate charters - for example for crimes against human rights - under the carpet.
Once we spread that responsibility around so everyone with a very short-term memory only goes back more than 20 years. Once shame can be felt in any party,
then perhaps we can have a real discussion of how things coud be different.
Or people with relatively little power can hate other people with relatively little power.
That's been doing a lot of good. Maybe I'm too critical.

All that you say is true, but it does not help in arriving at decisions about the goodness or badness of •globalism• as FishPie and his videos presenter attempts to paint it.

But the language coming from the video and that coming from fish pie are not the same, are they? The video is reasonable, although I do have a problem with this implied organised and powerful force, the Globalists, but fishy is just having a rant, with the intention of being inflammatory. The problem of immigration needs to be tackled calmly and sensibly, but if we let ourselves get all fired up by fishy, we will end up fighting on the streets.
