Do you really hate America that much?
They've been burning a lot of books over there recently, perhaps they can win back Veggie's favour if they chuck all the dictionaries that spell that word 'favor' onto the same mildly nazi pyre. Spelling seems to be the thing she truly resents.
How is he any more hatable than any other US president? Perhaps there really is a condition called 'TSD'. At least he's entertainiing. I don't get to vote there anyway, so it doesn't really matter what I think or say about it. I just like annoying the wonkers on here
I don't hate him, I just detest him, and that is because he is a despicable human being. The reason I prefer him not to be president is because I am far less likely to inadvertently hear that moronic voice of his on the radio.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 7:24 pmHow is he any more hatable than any other US president?
More so than any other president? What's the difference between 'hating' and 'detesting'??Harbal wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 8:08 pmI don't hate him, I just detest him, and that is because he is a despicable human being. Hate: "intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury"What's the difference between 'hating' and 'detesting'??
I can just ignore her, but it is harder to ignore someone who makes your skin crawl. If the wonker pet and rabid psychopathic warmonger Hillary had won then we most likely wouldn't be around to discuss this anyway. How ungrateful of you
I suppose we can all cherry-pick google...Harbal wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 8:55 pmJust more so than most other human beings.Hate: "intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury"What's the difference between 'hating' and 'detesting'??
Detest: "dislike intensely"
"Detest" seems to fit my attitude better.

The word, hate, suggests an intensity of emotion that I don't feel towards Trump, or anyone else, for that matter.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 9:07 pmI suppose we can all cherry-pick google...Harbal wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 8:55 pmJust more so than most other human beings.Hate: "intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury"What's the difference between 'hating' and 'detesting'??

''Some common synonyms of detest are abhor, abominate, hate, and loathe. While all these words mean "to feel strong aversion or intense dislike for," detest suggests violent antipathy.''
