I don't hate him, I just detest him, and that is because he is a despicable human being. The reason I prefer him not to be president is because I am far less likely to inadvertently hear that moronic voice of his on the radio.

The word, hate, suggests an intensity of emotion that I don't feel towards Trump, or anyone else, for that matter.
