If the last female human child and the last male human child were both inextricably evil, sadistic, cannibals, would sacrificing my life so that they could live to procreate for the future of humanity be the right thing for me to do?

I suppose, in the end, I'm just not good father material. Maybe there's a God and God ensured that I didn't create more like me as a favor to everyone in the world including myself. Looking at the whole thing, that's the only conclusion I can make about anything at this point. I see no redeeming possibility for me or the world other than I just cease to exist. Perhaps, the sooner I cease to exist, the better. All I do is foment problems, burdens, and discontentment. I've been comfortable all my life. I've been "mentally ill" for most of it now but at least I've been comfortable.

Fuck. If that's all I can hope for in life, if that's the highest I can aspire to, then maybe I should just stop aspiring and make fart jokes or else sign off permanently. My life has been a waste. The closest I can come to happiness is to end my miserable existence before it gets worse. The pursuit of happiness is a destructive illusion I've followed. I've got something akin to "white savior" syndrome. Like so many "great" thinkers before me, all I've done is perpetuate collective insanity in my quest for "greatness". How many children will read this, fall under the spell of my nonsense, and destroy their own lives? I wanted to be more caring and helpful than anyone else and in the end, all I've done is fuck up everyone's life including mine in a selfish pursuit to be "right" at everyone else's expense.

When I was walking my dog, first thing this morning waiting for my phone to ping that you replied in this thread I looked at the cockatoos in the gum trees and I wondered whether you get out into nature each day.

Those cockatoos are happy, my dog was happy jumping around waiting for me to throw the ball, etc..

Seriously, do you get out into nature for a walk - into a park or something? Always cheers me up - i got no kids etc...who gives a fuck?

Your attitude and words are sending out lots of vibrations that naturally attract more of the same to you, Gary.

If you were focused on being more grateful (and there is SO MUCH to be grateful for), rather than focused on complaining about all of your discontent, you might be able to move into a better experience.

You've done a good job of convincing me that you have no control over how you are... so OKAY... but then why do you seem surprised by it? The Universe is perfectly magnifying and replicating what you are intent on.

(I think this is something most humans struggle with. I do! But it's not a mystery... we are the source of much of our experience.)

You should wait as long as possible before sacrificing your life, just in case they eat each other before they get the chance to procreate, thus making your sacrifice unnecessary.

1. It IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for ANY human being to be born 'inextricably' evil, sadistic, NOR a cannibal.
