Children fight and can be violent, sure. That's not war. Children do not cause poverty - unless you mean that adults having children can give them more bills, which is not relevant to what Age means. Yes, children can cause unrest in their household, but given the list 'poverty, war and unrest' it takes the most fantastic misread to think the kind of unrest Age is talking about is something caused by children.
Children will bully one-another, fight, steal a weaker child's lunch money (inducing poverty), when not monitored by adult supervision. Heat waves, droughts, and fires have, OBVIOUSLY, existed for countless amount of years and in Fact have had to existed for 'you' human beings to even come to exist.
And, Nature, Itself, can NOT and does NOT die. 'you' human beings can CHANGE 'things' in such a way, through selfishness, greed, unrest, and warring that 'you' are actually able to destroy a whole earth sized planet so much so so that planet is NOT able to sustain human like life on it anymore.

Also, absolutely NO one has to 'try' to enjoy 'life', in 'this world', as can be seen by EVERY child who DOES just ENJOY 'life' no matter what they have been 'given'.
