Top ten universities in the world

Turns out they're all British and American, with the UK taking first and third place. The UK has three in the top ten, with the USA having the other seven. Since the USA has about five times the population of the UK, this actually puts the UK slightly ahead, proportionally.
These are world rankings, though, so what's going on here?

I suspect the Chinese, Persians, East Indians, Russians, and many others would disagree with your premise.
I don't know if a "World University" is possible without ethnic, racial, national, religious, etc. conflict.
Ideas are rooted in biology. Biology is rooted in conflict.
