Surely if there were more guns then good people with guns would kill bad people with guns? Having more guns than people is clearly not quite enough yet?
Surely if Jesus (a brown stranger came knocking on my door) he'd have a gun to protect himself too? I definiely would not just shoot him.

I am free to drive up to Canada to avoid being shot.

The consequence of gun misbehavior can be human death. It seems to me that that should outweigh all the arguments against gun safety.

I'm not sure if that is a good comparison since people actually have a reason to drive.. but...

If you think cars are comparable to guns, then how about this?

You have to REGISTER A FUCKING CAR.
You have to have a licence to drive a fucking car.
You have to have insurance to drive a car. and you have to maintain it to road worthness and the car has to comply with standards.
Mentally ill people and drunk people are not allowed to drive.

Now ask yourself if none of these things wre required (afterall they are infringements on your liberty) do you think there would be more or fewer people killed in cars??

Did anyone ever explain to you that insurance is for accidents not negligence or criminal misconduct? No insurance company will pay out if you drive drunk; or if you operate a vehicle against the guidance of a doctor; or if you go on a road rampage.
