I am conducting research on the intersection of the philosophy discourse community and pop culture. I am seeking to gain a better understanding of how members of the philosophy discourse community navigate popular culture's influence on their knowledge and practices.

To achieve my research goals, I have created a Google form that asks about your experiences as a member of the philosophy discourse community. Leave responses as short or as long as you'd like: any participation would be greatly appreciated. There are quite a few questions, but none are required. Feel free to skim around to the questions that feel applicable to you/that you feel you can provide an insightful response to. I was on a train once, can't remember where though, probably somewhere in Hindoostan. I looked out the window and I saw a cafeteria. Inside it two women - late teens/early twenties - going up to the seated patrons and although I couldn't hear what they were sayin', it looked as though they were part of a survey team. I didn't have binoculars but why do I have this image of her ... small beauty spot on the right cheek, close to her lips? When she smiled, the train tooted and life resumed her voyage.
