all life is but one question...

and that question is this:
what are my choices?
think of our political life... we have two (but not only two)
political possibilities, one is democracy and the other is
dictatorship...democracy is predicated upon people having
choice and dictatorships are not about choice... think about
our economic system... capitalism.... capitalism pretends to
be about choice, but the choice is about what shampoo we can
buy or what car we can buy... and that is not about choices...
for the larger picture, we cannot choose to be free in a capitalism
system... we must work, produce or consume in a capitalistic system...
fail to work, produce or consume, and we are punished.. either
officially, be fired and quickly starve or end up on the streets,
or be attacked by the faithful as being a communist or traitor...
and within communism, we are also left without choice...
for in communism, we are reduced to being a worker bee..
whose only function is to work for the hive... as it is the worker bee
of capitalism to work for the "better" of the capitalistic system
or for the worker bee of communism that is only working for
the coming "worker paradise".. I cannot see any difference
between the two... both are workers who have no choice but to
be worker bee's with no other choice...
but think about the two, currently competing political ideologies,
democracies and dictatorship.. and we can see the choices offered
by both... in democracies we are offered some choice, whereas in
a dictatorship, we are offered no choice of any kind....
and who favors democracy more these days, liberals,
democrats and who favors dictatorships, conservatives/
GOP/MAGA types...GOP/MAGA types have made it clear that
they would rather serve Putin than Biden.... and that choice, is
the only choice that they are allowed...
Every aspect of our lives, our society, our state depends on
what choices we have or are given.... if we are not allowed to
have abortions, to be trans or gay or to vote, then we are not
allowed choices in a democracy.... ask yourself, who is fighting to
remove choices, the left or the right?
this question of choices is really the main question of existence...
what choices do you have and what choices are you going to make?
