Hello everyone,

Might as well start with a brief introduction of myself:
I'm a 21 year-old college student, studying up in Montreal, Quebec, where I also reside. I'm almost done my full-time studies, with one semester of my extended stay left.

Was seemingly interested in philosophy for quite some time but only recently, about a year ago, took it up as a hobby and decided that I would pursue it as a Majors study in University when the time comes, as well as taking a minor in Poli.Sci.

I'm mainly interested in ethics, metaphysics, politics, and the study of religion. ( Though I have a lot of studying and learning to do on all these subjects). :P

Subscribed to Philosophy Now magazine the 29th of December, and am still awaiting my first issue.
I'm eager to learn all that I can, and this forum seems like quite an interesting place to start.
:D

Hi, Yovlud,

I'm a newcomer to the forum as well. You might be interested in the topic "Neurotrash or consciousness unexplained" under "Introduce yourself". It's a good topic, and so far I'm the only one who's replied. I would like to see other people's thoughts on this, and I encourage you to weigh in.

I visited Montreal and the lake country in 1995 and enjoyed it greatly. A former friend and coworker (mathematical statistics) went to college in Montreal.

Good luck with your studies and with getting your first issue of the magazine.
