Racist and Homophibic Republicans

157 out of 213 Republicans voted against the Respect for Marriage Act.

They didn't have to vote fot it; or against it - they had the option to abstain.

75% of Republicans are actively against the legality of same sex and interracial marriages.

How can we keep pretending that racism and homophibia aren't the defining characteristics of the Republican party?

What I don't get is, if you don't like gay sex, why not just avoid having it?

It seems like the most homophobic republicans have trouble doing that though

It doesn't matter if individuals don't like people for whatever reason. Heck. Humans hate each other anyway. What matters is equal rights in the eyes of the law. A politician can personally be anti-choice but vote pro-choice. 'Homophobia' is such a stupid, over-used word anyway. It means 'fear of men'. I doubt if fear is what motivates some people to dislike them. Some women genuinely fear men, and for good reason, so you could use that word to describe 'them', otherwise it's just another overused-until-it's-meaningless word that wokies use to silence anyone who doesn't follow the exact rules of their manifesto.

Conservatism is intimately linked to christian ideology it goes without saying. The institution of marriage as they see it is a sacred religious union between a man and a woman.

okay. but because there prolly is no biblical 'god' and the sexual, romantic and reproductive behavior of human beings is just a collection if evolutionary changes and developments at genetic and environmental levels that, abnormal as they may be, aren't directly threatening or compromising to the individual or species survival... they are arbitrary. interesting, but but not fascinating or dangerous. nothing to be alarmed about. Hell there's bisexuality and homosexuality everywhere in the aminal kingdom.

really nature doesn't care what kind of 'union' you form or with whom you form it.

one day in a galaxy far far away, there will be no more marriages, and instead partner systems between people that can get them tax breaks. you can make yourself or order from a catalogue, the kind of family you want.

And what about gay men who are misogynistic? Men who call women 'bitches' instead of 'women'? Lesbians who don't like straight women? And what kind of person sticks their penis in a hole in a public toilet? Am I supposed to like someone like that?
As for 'inter racial' marriage--I'm pretty sure that ship sailed a very long time ago
Funny how wokies are always insisting that there is 'no such thing as race', yet they are the ones who are constantly using the word

Seems a tad risky, especially if the guy on the other side isn't 'obliging' and has a pocket knife handy...
