the calculus of best sufficiency

Ordinary people in the first world don't have access to the best options but they have access to numerous sufficient options, so they don't see access to the best options as particularly problematic. But for those who struggle to find sufficiency, the waste of those constantly one-upping each other to get better bests cuts straight to the bone.

Hi there!
I have three questions if you would be so kind as to respond:
1) What is the definition of "sufficient options"?
2) What do you consider to be the "best option"?
3) What does all this have to do with Ethical Theory?
