My philosophical definition of love is: when you try to grow and to make other people grow as well.

Thanks for your definition.

My philosophical definition of love is: “Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, and grass grows by itself.”

Life flows as this immediate one seamless everything. An unconditional happening.

“If you really want something to happen, you need to get out of its way”.

No force on earth can make what is happening not happen. Unconditional acceptance of what is always ''what is'' and could never have been 'what is not' ...is true freedom.

You do not happen. You have never happened. Nothing has ever happened to you. You've done nothing to make you happen. YOU are the happening ..one without a second.

Life is in constant flux. The only constant is change. An apple newly picked is already rotting. The river that looks as majestic as the day before is not the same river.

When we are able to be in the moment, we no longer feel compelled to watch the clock. Whatever your work might be, bring all of yourself to it. When you are fully present, you may find that your labour is no longer a burden. Wood is chopped. Water is carried. Life happens.

Life can never experience it's own absence. Eternity is all there is here right now as this immediate unconditional presence absolutely free to be in every moment. Being is everything because there is no other everything, everything is all there is. This is the true meaning of unconditional love.

Resistence to what is is futile and the senseless cause of all suffering.

Everything that happens is a perfect expression of Oneness, because oneness is all there is, was and ever will be.

Many people use the phrase, "my definition" or "so and so's definition" however, one of the most primitive realizations by a true grammar teacher, such as Plato can be paraphrased as "What may be predication of any thing is wholly determined by the definition of that thing." which is why, in many dialogs Socrates first makes it clear by asking the question "is such and such a thing?" The reason for this is that we can only name the two elements of a thing, a relative and a correlative, i.e., noun and verb.
One might imagine then, that we want to define love, but is that true? Or, do we go back to the first principle, what defines a thing is a mind. Can any behavior of mankind be referenced to any other source than the definition of a mind?
A mind is, potentially, the most power life support system possible, therefore, the behavior noted as "love" as a relation between two individuals would be, when "two people do their best to maintain and promote life as project partners." In short, no defining characteristic behavior of a human being can be derived from anything but the purpose and function of a mind to begin with. We do not define any thing, we discover them. Love is not an emotion, but a devotion. As Plato noted, no sense can do the work of another, so asking what love looks like is no different than asking what is the sound of one hand clapping, something you ask an idiot to send them away. Love looks and smells like roses, even by any other name.

It 'looks' like desperate loneliness and a pointless existence when the person has gone forever. That's the sad irony of it.

The curse of cluelessness has affected your capacity to decipher emoji meaning, so as a courtesy to clarity lacking in your muddle, let’s straighten you out.

The meaning of one laughing emoji is not the hilarity that you perceive. Objectively speaking, hilarity requires at least three laughing emojis, three being the magic number for literary conceptual reinforcement.

One laughing emoji is simply a chuckle of sympathy concerning your strange needs.

If you can get this beginning of understanding fixed in the noggin, then you can move on to deciphering more complex transmissions, and how proceed slowly and with care in savouring nuance may even dawn as a factor your processes.
