The question needs further clarification.
Are you asking if outer space would want to observe more supermarket employees than movie critics, if it could... or are you asking if it would observe more supermarket employees than movie critics irrespective of what it desires to observe, if it could?

It's the former; that outer space would observe supermarket employees more than movie critics, if it could, the personal logic of the question being that movie critics are the parody of disproportionate projection to quantity
