The Cult of Philosophy

When you think about it

, philosophy is no more than a cult of individuals obsessed with trying to make sense out of concepts that have absolutely no basis in Reality [or even in our own personal realities]. The chances of anybody getting anywhere close to the truth of the matter is ZERO so why all the fuss about nothing? And really, it seems the vast majority of folks simply long for affirmation of their convoluted take on things.
Although perhaps better than other modern cults [e.g., eating, porn, drugs/alcohol, tv, computer games, internet surfing, etc.], it's pretty much a complete waste of time and energy.
Perhaps we could do each other a favor and pool our collective intelligence to discover an activity a tad bit more productive. Personally, I love to read and consume novels on a regular basis. There are literally thousands of really good/great authors out there and an unlimited amount of things you can learn about [historically and otherwise].
What do you people do when you are not figuring out how the Universe works?

Nah.
Cults are most usually directed by one man, or one authority.
FOr example Moonies were followers of the Rev Sung Young Moon.. Similat examples exist for David Koreshi and infinitem.
FOr followers there is but one way forward and that is to religiously believe their leader, and follow his every wish.
FOr long surviving cults such as older religions, although there might be divisions into sects, the result is the same; to belong you need to obey and follow without question.
Philosophy is the reverse of this.
You either have very little experience of studying philosophy or you are confusing philosophy with religions.

PS.
It is pretty clear you haven't go the faintest idea of what a "cult" is.

As an opponent of daylight, with no harm intended at daylight, I would say I'm a safe cultist. In specific, I am concerned with criticism after, which seems to be intertwined with daylight's before is after.
I'm also currently concerned with Ukraine v Russia, along the paradigm of daylight's criticism after

Perhaps it is the other way around, that is, convince yourself how to make you work better for it...after all, everything is just as it was meant to be [you included]...

You give entirely new meaning to the term, "photophobia."

Are you interested, in being an opponent of daylight yourself? I ask, in the context of trying to advance the cause, of a global standstill creating the momentum toward no criticism after

Actually, I quite enjoy the daylight and would consider myself a sun worshiper.
As far as the other is concerned, I believe you will find a lot less push-back if you choose walls not so thick to bang your head against.

To figure out "an activity a tad bit more productive" is pragmaticism....you cannot escape philosophy.

In regards to the first comment, I would say that I used to be a sun worshipper. I used to go to my local woodland, and raise my hand to the sun on a daily basis, not afraid of other human beings seeing me do it. The precise angle, of the vision of the Sun that I had was like a metaphorical twirl.
In regards to the second: daylight's flux isn't a choice, thus, I'm merely being me
