It's a short but fine article. I'm glad to see that this is shared by some of the religious thinkers as it is with my own athiesm. We need to work together on this issue. While it is understandable that we are selfish as individuals, we cannot let it completely annihilate us.

My conjecture on this regarding recent times is that our tech has grown more powerful than we can yet handle. But this only amplifies what problems underlie the issues.
