When does art, in the sense of visual imagery, cross the boundary and become either erotica, pornography, or both?

When you can wank to it??
Or when others are disgusted by it.
If you go to Yahoo Images and type in "cosplay", most of those images are erotic photos, but not really porn, even though many are designed to illicite a response.
But the same images in 1975 would be pornographic. I do not think there is any thing graphic here, but times change.

Veganman,
I would suppose when the subjects involved in erotica imagery are treated in one dimension, devoid of real identity or humanity but simply objects.
