Doesn't sound like much of a choice.
Belief isn't a choice. Belief is a state only achieved through persuasion. There are also numerous predeterministic verses in the bible describing that before people even existed God decided that they would worship Satan and consequently be sent to hell.
This is the sickness that is the human story.
