Equity and crime

Equity has a significant effect on the reduction of crime.
The point is that there is a correlation between equity and crime reduction. Equity in another word has a direct impact on personal and cultural reasons that reduce crime.
Your understanding of empiricism is backwards.Terrapin Station wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:12 pm Just how are we measuring equity, first off, in order to make any empirical statements about it? There would need to be some set of criteria that we're going by; criteria that can clearly be pegged to observables and require very little interpretation.
Economically for example by equalizing the salary of individuals. I am not against the hierarchy though and I think it should be based on wisdom.Terrapin Station wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:12 pm Just how are we measuring equity, first off, in order to make any empirical statements about it? No, I am saying there is a correlation between equal salaries and a reduction in crime. Why people should still if they realize that they are equal and have the same share of the wealth?Terrapin Station wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:07 pmSo you'd be saying there's some correlation between equal salaries and crime?bahman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 10:01 pmEconomically for example by equalizing the salary of individuals. It is NOT a matter of "should steal" but if people 'would' still steal. AND, people would still steal if they are equal and have the same share of wealth. This is because adult human beings have grown up learning to be greedy and selfish human beings. So, some will still spend their money on some things, which does not allow them to save to obtain other things, which they see "others" have, but which they tell "themselves" that they really want also.bahman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:44 pmNo, I am saying there is a correlation between equal salaries and a reduction in crime. People steal out of greed and selfishness, and NOT out of equality or not.
Now, if you just want to take crime out of society, then all you need to do is just take greed out of society. Greed is just caused by child abuse, and child abuse is just caused because 'you', adult human beings are Dishonest.
This is all REALLY EXTREMELY very simple and very easy indeed.
Equity is of NO real issue here anyway, as OBVIOUSLY NO person is better NOR worse than ANY "other" person is to begin with.
Also, LOOKING AT this and THINKING about this in monetary terms SHOWS and REVEALS just how greedy 'you', adult human beings, have REALLY become, in the days of when this is being LOOKED AT and DISCUSSED.
This is True in a sense. But, this is absolutely NOT TRUE in the sense and in the way you are thinking here.bahman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 12:46 amEducation is the door to equity.Age wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 12:42 amIt is NOT a matter of "should steal" but if people 'would' still steal. If you like, the 'door to equity' is IN BIRTH. The vagina being the 'door', and also the 'pearly gates' to this "world".
How 'you', adult human beings, make this "world", for ALL of those EQUAL new borns who have just come into this "world" is another matter.
Also, because some of 'you', adult human beings, BELIEVE that 'we' are NOT EQUAL, then for those adults they WILL MAKE this "world" an UNEQUAL and thus UNJUST "world", for some. But this is NOT of their OWN making and decision, but is just the result of the ABUSE that they HAD TO endure with when they were children.
But WHEN does a human being start becoming Truly responsible for their mis/behaviors?

And through 'education' I am 'heuristically'' teaching 'you'.
But this is happening so subliminally that you are UNAWARE that this is even happening and occurring.
