Do you mean what do we think are the motivations of the Muslims, who are a part of the external world, something we can only have a hallucination produced in our brain about and in fact does not exist? How could we possibly answer that question?

I am looking for reasons why SOME Muslims condemn those Muslims who celebrate Christmas?

On the side,
In one perspective, what is reality is a hallucination within a continuum.
Humans [external and yet part & parcel of reality] including Muslims are the more realistic hallucinations.

Mo Salah is one of the best football players on the globe - every Liverpool supports him - if you listen to them singing in the stands "MO-SALAH!!"

It's a shame he's on the team of hate for his religion.

(oh yes, my team Southampton beat Liverpool 1-0 yesterday) :D

Winning and spreading the Covid19 viruses within the team and spectators, so as with other teams and players.

Why Muslims condemned MO Salah a Muslim celebrating Xmas is due to psychological insecurity.
Muslims like all theists relied upon their theism as a consonance to soothe the terrible angsts of existential dissonance.

As interpreted from the Quran and Ahadiths, celebrating the festival of another religion beside the most superior Islam is a sin which is deemed a threat to the religion of Islam. Such a concession to celebrate the festivals of other religions may lead Muslims to convert to Christianity, thus a threat.

Any threat to the beliefs as a Muslim will trigger dissonance and they will do whatever it takes to get rid of the threat to their belief, i.e. condemnation of the sinner and to the extreme will even kill the sinner. This is so evident with Muslims killing sinners and disbelievers.

The day that U WISE UP and stop insisting that you have some psychological superiority to those (yes very often feeble of mind with regards to GOD) people of faith, is the day we might actually get along.

U and your atheism is binarily wrong. Ipso Facto.

(btw it is not 'relied' upon - that is the past tense - it is 'rely' upon.)

EXACTLY like 'you', "veritas aequitas", do when there is an actual counter/threat to your OWN BELIEFS.

I did not claim psychological superiority.
However I do claim to have more knowledge of 'Know Thyself' in this case.

Non-theists as generic humans also inherently has the unavoidable existential crisis that drive them to seek consonance to relieve the dissonance.
Most non-theists turned to drugs, pain killer, deviate to crimes, and other evil acts [instead to of theism] to seek consonance to relieve the dissonances.
Morally whatever evil acts from non-theists must be resolved but it is off topic here.

Since this is the Religion section, the truth must be told of what are the root causes of theism to enable humanity to resolve theistic related evil acts, significantly from some Muslims.
