If you believe you need a guide or government approval in order to do psychedelics, you're far too a) integrated with a society that those drugs should help you break free from b) untrusting of your own ability to find yourself, to get much out of them. In the first case you'll use whatever the drug brings as a method of confirmation bias as deeply as possible and miss the potential benefits except to the extent you're shocked out of your complacency. In the second, you're most likely to have a bad trip when you expect a bad trip; bringing the element of fear to your experience isn't a great way to get started. If you're uncertain, you're not ready. Read more trip reports. Watch more Rick & Morty while high. And above all, keep your rational brain in the front of your mind. There are vastly more unproblematic/helpful trips than the alternative.

Morality and Ethics is about the optimization of the well-being of the individual[s] and therefrom to that of humanity.

With reference to various research, psychedelics has its pros and cons to the well-being and other benefits to the individual[s]. Thus we cannot say it it immoral to use or advocate the banning of psychedelics just because it has its more noticeable evil and negative elements.

The ethics to psychedelics is thus to ensure there are fool proof measures to ensure individual benefits from its pros and totally avoid all its known cons [negatives].

Perhaps psychedelics could be ethically required in most cases of people being sniveling idiots..

That you jump right to an accusation of ignorance rather than taking it as intended, at least partially, in jest since defining "sniveling idiot" is a rabbit hole, says more about your thought process than my understanding of psychedelics which, incidentally, is well above average both in knowledge and experience.
