Do Christians and Muslims feel sad and cry at the funerals of their loved ones?

Shouldn't they be relieved, happy , celebrating and dancing with joy and delight that their loved ones are now in heaven.

Yes, some human beings, labeled as and known as "christians" and "muslims", have sad feelings within and do cry at the funeral of some of the ones they love/d.

But human beings at funerals are NOT crying FOR the ones they love/d. They are crying for their OWN 'selves' and what they have lost. They are just crying because they are missing, and they will miss, those ones that they love/d.

Human beings do NOT necessarily cry FOR the "other". They cry, more so if not always, FOR their own 'selves' and what they, "themselves", will lose and miss.

You know what you should do?

Go to a few funerals. Then you'd know.

And I highly recommend that you do, in all sincerity. It would be a revelation.

In heaven??

I just asked a question on heaven and hell.

It asks why so many end in hell and so few in heave.

To answer you directly, believers must see their loved ones as likely heading for hell, and that should bring sorrow.
