The rules for Truth are different. Truth only loses in compromise. When you have a true belief, only additional verification (ie confirmation bias) is a possible way to improve your position. (though there are plenty of ways to improve how it's presented and/or received) When you're right, your problem isn't to obtain information, but to be able to show why/how you're right. When you've found truth, your project is filtration and integration based on previously held-beliefs, the same as the search for truth, but you'll no longer be able to find any valid refutation. Further, the search for truth is an entirely different enterprise than disseminating truth when you've found it. When you're a True expert in Truth, you can only rely upon yourself to validate your opinions until you can verify that someone else is on the same level of understanding. There's a reason why gurus live on mountaintops.
